Bluejeans is an online conferencing and collaboration application that is integrated with audio, video, and content sharing. You can use it to conduct online meetings, presentations, webinars, training, and courses.

Canvas is Georgia Tech's new learning management system. Campus will begin migrating from T-Square to Canvas in the 2017-2018 academic year.

CATME (Comprehensive Assessment of Team Member Effectiveness) is an online peer evaluation tool that helps instructors effectively organize and manage teams, communicate with students, and facilitate peer evaluation. Instructors at Georgia Tech can use it free by creating an instructor account at the CATME web site with their Georgia Tech email.

Kaltura is Georgia Tech’s YouTube-like portal for rich media. You can use it to create and stream video, audio, and images. Share your media with a specific group, the entire campus, or make them publically available. Kaltura is integrated with Canvas and you can access it by logging on to Canvas

Mahara is an open-source e-portfolio that enables students to record “evidence of lifelong learning,” such as essays, web pages, multimedia, artwork, projects, or other such things they produce that can be stored digitally. It is much more than just a place to store files. It is combined with a social networking system, which allows students to interact with their peers, instructors, friends, and future employers, and to create their own online communities.

Piazza is a discussion platform that can be utilized for students to interact more richly with instructors, TAs, and with the class. It can be used as a standalone tool, with Canvas or with T-Square.

Qualtrics is an online survey and research tool for data collection. You can use it to build surveys, distribute surveys, and analyze responses, all from one convenient online location.

T-Square is an online collaboration and learning environment at Georgia Tech. All official courses have a site in T-Square. Sites for adhoc purposes can be created by anyone in the Georgia Tech community. A phased migration from T-Square to Canvas will begin Spring 2018 and continue through Spring 2019 when T-Square will be decommissioned.

TurningPoint is a learning tool that facilitates active participation in presentations or lectures. It can be used for in-class polls, attendance checks, discussions, and quizzes. Students use a clicker or other hand-held/computer device to submit responses to interactive questions. The system records answers from each student and provides instant histograms of student responses.Question polling can also be conducted by using content in other formats — web browsers, PDFs, PowerPoint, Word documents, and more. It is ideal for large lectures when full participation is desired but not easily achieved and to gather feedback on student learning to make informed instructional decisions.
